In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top beauty retail applications on Android in the United States exhibited varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Bath & Body Works saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at around 35K and peaking at approximately 73K in early December. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, climbing from 936K to a high of 1.7M by late November before settling at 1.2M at the end of the quarter.
Sephora: Buy Makeup & Skincare experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting from 5.3K and reaching a peak of around 30K in late October. Active users increased from 462K to a peak of 751K in late November, before ending the quarter at 544K.
Ulta Beauty: Makeup & Skincare downloads varied throughout the quarter, beginning at 20K, dipping mid-quarter, and peaking at 28K in late November. Active users increased from 580K to a high of 833K in late November, finishing the quarter at 658K.
Scentbird Monthly Perfume Box maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 4K weekly. Active users started at 30K, with a slight increase to 37K in early December before declining to 28K by the quarter's end.
e.l.f. Cosmetics and Skincare saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 2.5K and peaking at 4.3K in early December. Active users grew steadily from 12K to 21K by the end of the quarter.
