The performance of business finance and solutions applications on the Android platform in Australia during the fourth quarter of 2025 showcases notable trends. Utilizing data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top five apps.
Xero Me consistently maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 3K in early November before tapering off to approximately 1.5K by the end of December. The app also saw an initial increase in weekly active users, reaching nearly 97K in early November, before declining to about 56K by the quarter's end.
Square Point of Sale: Payment experienced a steady download rate, peaking at 2.6K in early December. Active users showed a gradual increase, reaching a peak of about 48K in early November, with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
Mileage Tracker by Driversnote had stable download numbers, starting from over 2.5K at the beginning of the quarter and experiencing a slight decrease to around 1.9K by the end. Active users remained relatively consistent, hovering around 11K throughout the quarter.
Xero Accounting for business showed an upward trend in revenue, beginning the quarter at $84 and rising steadily to $1.5K by the end of December. Downloads were fairly stable, with a peak of around 1.9K in early November. Meanwhile, active users increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 27K.
MYOB Assist: Invoice & Capture exhibited a downward trend in downloads from about 1.2K at the start of the quarter to around 340 by the end.
