In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Spain showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 38K and peaking at nearly 43K by the end of December. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users, hovering above 1.1M, and peaking at over 1.3M in mid-December.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 18K and reaching nearly 25K in early December. Active users increased steadily, peaking at approximately 448K in mid-December.
Cabify maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a slight rise to 19K in late December. Active users peaked at over 572K in mid-December, showing a strong upward trend.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 14K and dropping to about 7.7K by the end of December. However, weekly active users showed a positive trend, peaking at around 384K in late December.
TRIBBU showed significant growth in downloads, starting at 4K and reaching over 21K by late December. Unfortunately, active user data was not available for this app.
