2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Australian health and fitness app market on Android showed dynamic trends among its top performers. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps and their performance metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.
Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 4K and 6K, peaking at nearly 6K in mid-November. The app's weekly revenue varied, reaching up to $1.7K by the end of December. Active users saw a gradual decline, starting from around 94K and settling at 76K.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a notable rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $42K in the last week of December. Downloads showed an end-of-quarter surge to nearly 5K, while active users increased from 215K to 227K.
Garmin Connect™ showed a strong growth in downloads, rising from 2K to over 12K by late December. Active users also saw an upward trend, crossing 330K by the end of the quarter.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run had a fluctuating revenue stream, peaking at $16K in the final week. Downloads and active users increased significantly towards the end, with downloads reaching 5K and active users jumping to 118K.
PhysiApp® maintained a steady download rate, starting at 2.5K and gradually decreasing to 1.5K by the quarter's end. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 25K in mid-November before stabilizing at 22K.
