In the final quarter of 2025, Spain's iOS carpooling and ridesharing market experienced notable trends across its leading apps, according to Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride had a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 33.5K and peaking at 36.7K by the end of December. Meanwhile, weekly active users began at around 879K, dipped mid-quarter, and ended slightly higher at 879.7K.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady increase in downloads, closing the quarter at 22.2K from an initial 19K. Active users also showed a rise from 396K to 398K, with a significant peak at 466K mid-December.
Cabify saw downloads fluctuate, beginning at 14.4K and ending at 15K. Active users revealed volatility, reaching a high of 534K mid-quarter before ending at 359K.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 9.6K to 7K. Active users, however, rose from 260K to 274K before settling at 228K.
Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more had a modest increase in downloads, starting at 6.3K and finishing at 9.2K. Active users showed an upward trend with a peak at 165K, finally closing at 124K.
