In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Europe displayed diverse performance trends on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into weekly downloads and active users.
Uber - Request a ride saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 709K and reaching a peak of 855K by the end of December. The app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 24M to 26M throughout the quarter.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady rise in downloads, peaking at 517K in the final week. The app's active user base showed a general increase, starting at 14M and reaching nearly 15M mid-quarter before a dip to 13.6M at the end.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Market had a consistent increase in downloads, concluding at 277K. Active users remained strong, with a notable peak at 32M towards the end of the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus downloads exhibited a gradual decrease from 146K to 123K, while active users increased significantly, reaching over 5M by December.
Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery showed a steady rise in downloads, ending the quarter at nearly 128K. Active users also saw a positive trend, growing from 2.6M to nearly 3M.
