The fourth quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the performance of leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in the United Kingdom, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 104K and 141K. The app saw its highest downloads in late October with around 141K. Active users showed a slight variation, starting at about 6.6M and peaking at approximately 7.4M in early December before a decline towards the end of the quarter.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady weekly download range, hitting a high of around 52.7K in early December. Active users increased significantly from about 1.2M at the start of the quarter to almost 1.5M by December, indicating growing engagement.
The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app showed consistent weekly downloads, peaking in early December at roughly 27.6K. Active users rose steadily, starting at around 424K and reaching over 511K by the end of December.
Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery had a notable increase in weekly downloads, which grew from 15.3K to 23.3K by the end of the year. The app's active users fluctuated, peaking at about 76K in late November.
Lastly, inDrive. Save on city rides saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, reaching over 13.2K by late December. Active users also increased steadily, starting at around 69K and climbing to over 78K by the end of the quarter.
