In the fourth quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant app market in the United Kingdom showed significant activity. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s U.K. saw a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at over 103K in early October, before experiencing a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling around 69K. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at approximately 4.2M and reaching a high of 5M in late October, eventually declining to around 3.9M by year-end.
The Greggs App - Food & Drink maintained a consistent download rate, with a peak of nearly 79K in mid-November. Active users increased steadily from 1.9M to a peak of 2.5M in mid-November, before tapering to around 1.8M by the end of December.
Costa Coffee Club experienced stable download numbers, with a slight decrease from 39K in late October to 28K by the end of December. Active users peaked at 2.6M in mid-October and remained relatively high, ending the quarter at approximately 2M.
For Domino's Pizza Delivery UK&ROI, weekly downloads were consistent, hovering around 33K in December. Active users showed variability, with numbers starting at 1.1M, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising again to 1.1M by year's end.
Finally, Starbucks UK downloads decreased from 35K in early October to 22K at the end of December. Active users saw a peak of 1.1M in mid-December, closing the quarter with just under 950K.
