In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications in the United States demonstrated varied performance trends on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Progressive saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at about 202K and ending the quarter at 177K. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users ranging from approximately 3.5M to 4.4M.
State Farm® experienced a consistent download pattern, starting at 133K and closing the quarter near 118K. The app's active user numbers varied, peaking at around 3.2M in early October and settling around 3M by the end of December.
UnitedHealthcare showed an increasing trend in downloads, starting at 104K and reaching 255K by the end of the quarter. Active users for UnitedHealthcare also climbed, beginning at 1.9M and finishing at 2.4M.
GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance had stable download numbers, with minor fluctuations between 78K and 108K. Active users displayed a slight increase throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 2.2M.
Finally, HealthEquity Mobile saw a notable increase in downloads, starting from 56K and reaching over 102K. The app's active users rose significantly, peaking at over 813K by the end of December.
