In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top medical apps in the Netherlands showed varied performance trends on the unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.
BeterDichtbij maintained consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 13.9K in mid-November. However, towards the end of the quarter, downloads decreased to approximately 7.3K. Weekly active users for BeterDichtbij showed a downward trend, starting at 138K and ending at around 81K.
MedGemak+ saw an increase in weekly downloads in early November, reaching a high of 14.5K, before declining to 7.8K by the end of December. Active user numbers were strong, peaking at 442K in mid-November, but later decreased to 321K.
Uw Zorg online experienced a spike in downloads in early November with approximately 14.8K, followed by a decline to around 9K at the end of the quarter. The app's active users started at 150K and showed a slight decrease, ending at 141K.
HiX Patiënt achieved its highest weekly downloads of 14K in mid-November, but downloads dropped to 6.3K by the end of December.
Service Apotheek had a relatively stable download performance throughout the quarter, with a slight peak in early November at 6.4K. Active user numbers increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 83K in mid-December.
