Fire Emblem Heroes Revenue October 2018

Fire Emblem Heroes has netted Nintendo nearly $200 million so far in 2018 after app store fees, and last month it added another $12.2 million to that sum on an estimated $17.4 million in worldwide player spending across the App Store and Google Play.

Sensor Tower Store Intelligence figures show that the strategy RPG has been responsible for approximately 72 percent of the company's mobile game revenue to date in 2018, but that it contributed only about 37 percent last month as Nintendo's latest iOS and Android release, Dragalia Lost, grew to account for more than half of player spending in its smartphone titles.

Fire Emblem Heroes revenue was up slightly month-over-month, posting a 3.8 percent increase from September's estimated $16.8 million gross. However, year-over-year revenue compared to October 2017 was down 3.8 percent from approximately $18 million.

Japan continues to be the game's top market for player spending, increasing its share of revenue to approximately 58 percent last month, having started 2018 contributing about half of the game's monthly earnings. Meanwhile, the United States accounted for about 29 percent of Fire Emblem Heroes revenue in October.

To date, Fire Emblem Heroes has grossed an estimated $452 million worldwide, making Nintendo more than $316 million in the process.
