Mobile Strike Revenue Pushes Beyond $1 Billion for MZ

Mobile Strike revenue totals more than $1.3 billion worldwide, according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates.

Mobile Strike Revenue

Published under MZ's Epic War banner, Mobile Strike debuted in late 2015 as the modern military take on the company's hit Game of War. Since then, the title has gone on to gross an estimated $1.3 billion from players on the App Store and Google Play, according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data.

Mobile Strike has been most successful in the United States, where it earned about 55 percent of its total revenue to date. The game's theme and mechanics have also resonated quite well in Japan, where players have accounted for approximately 13 percent of spending so far.

The game grossed more than $4 million last month worldwide—considerably less than in March 2017 when, at the peak of its popularity, players spent nearly $90 million on in-app purchases. Since then, MZ has shifted its focus to the launch of Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, which has grossed close to $400 million to date.
