Top Apps Worldwide for October 2019 by Downloads

Whatsapp was the most downloaded non-game app worldwide for October 2019 with close to 71 million installs. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were India at 39 percent of its total downloads and Brazil at 8 percent. The full top 10 ranking of non-game apps worldwide by downloads for October 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

TikTok was the second most installed non-game app worldwide last month with more than 66 million installs. The countries with the largest number of TikTok installs were India at 41 percent, followed by Brazil at 7 percent. Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram rounded out the top five most installed non-game apps worldwide for the month.
