The countries with the most installs of the game during this period were India at 16.7 percent of its total downloads and the United States at close to 12 percent. Brain Wash from SayGames was the second most installed mobile game worldwide last month with approximately 30 million downloads. The countries with the largest number of Brain Wash installs were India at 17.2 percent, followed by the U.S. at just over 12 percent. Cube Surfer from Voodoo, Subway Surfers from Sybo Games, and Tie Dye from Crazy Labs rounded out the top five most installed mobile games worldwide for the month.
One of gaming’s biggest hits right now, mobile or otherwise, Among Us from InnerSloth, increased downloads month-over-month by 661 percent to 18.4 million in August, ranking No. 9 in the world for installs. The title was originally released in 2018, with its recent success driven by a surge in interest from content creators on platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
