In the final quarter of 2020, the car gaming genre on Android saw varying trends across key performance metrics in Australia, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a glimpse into the performance of the top five car games during this period.
F1 Clash - Car Racing Manager experienced a peak in downloads, soaring from 559K in late September to over 1M by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 2.78M to 3.84M. Revenue in the same period showed a more variable pattern but concluded the quarter on a high note at around $4.3K.
Burnout Masters, an Aussie favorite, displayed a significant revenue hike, nearly tripling from $2K to $5.5K by the year's end. Downloads, however, dipped from 1.55M to 1M, while active users also saw a slight decline, ending the quarter at 2.62M.
Traffic Puzzle: Car Jam Escape stood out with a remarkable revenue surge from $1.5K to nearly $4.9K. Downloads peaked dramatically at 9.54M in early November before stabilizing around 1.94M. The game's active users spiked at 16.23M in November, eventually settling at 10.24M.
Car Parking Multiplayer showed modest revenue figures that fluctuated around the $400 to $600 mark. Downloads remained fairly consistent, with a slight uptick from 1.42M to 1.01M. The game maintained a stable base of active users, ending the year just shy of 5.72M.
