Interactive story games on Android have seen varied performances in the United States during Q4 2020. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Chat Master!, published by Supersonic Studios LTD, showed a promising start post-release with downloads peaking at 312K in late October. Weekly active users followed suit, reaching a high of 457K in early November. However, towards the end of the quarter, downloads settled at 244K, with active users at 443K.
For Episode - Choose Your Story by Episode Interactive, revenue maintained a steady uptrend throughout the quarter, ending on a high note with $114K in the last week of December. Downloads hit a peak of 62K in early November, while active users saw a high of 194K in the same period.
Lion Studios' Save The Baby experienced a spike in revenue in late November, reaching $564, with downloads and active users peaking at 61K and 77K respectively in mid-October.
Street Hustle, another Lion Studios publication, saw revenue starting from $136 in mid-November and downloads reaching 60K in the same period. Weekly active users showed an impressive climb to 86K in mid-November but ended the quarter with no reported revenue.
Finally, Time Princess: Dreamtopia from IGG.COM witnessed a significant increase in revenue, culminating at $119K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a consistent flow with a high of 35K in the last week, and active users mirrored this trend, reaching 67K in the same timeframe.
