Q4 2020 Analysis of Top Shooter Games on Android in France

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the shooter game category saw an array of performances from the leading titles on the Android platform in France. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower's data, provides a snapshot of the market dynamics for these games.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2 maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue peaking at $87K and downloads reaching a high of 29K in mid-October. The game's weekly active users (WAU) also showed robust engagement, peaking at 329K in the week of December 21st.

Sniper 3D：Gun Shooting Games experienced a steady revenue, with the highest at nearly $15K in the last week of December. Downloads for the game surged to 29K in the same period, and WAU climbed to a quarter-high of 145K, also in the final week of December.

The new entrant, Ninja’s Creed:3D Shooting Game, showed an initial strong download figure of 15K in late September. However, both downloads and WAU saw a general decline throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick in the last two weeks of December, finishing with 7.4K downloads and 12.7K WAU.

Fire Craft: 3D Pixel World, another new release, had a notable spike in downloads, reaching 23K in early November. Although the game's revenue was not a highlight, its WAU saw a significant peak at 33K in mid-November.

Lastly, PUBG MOBILE showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a high of $80K in mid-November. The game's downloads hit a peak of 18K in the first week of October, and WAU remained steady, ending the year with a healthy 154K active users.
