In the final quarter of 2020, the Hack and Slash category on iOS saw varying performances among its top contenders in Europe. Data from Sensor Tower provides an overview of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
MARVEL Future Fight, published by Netmarble Corporation, maintained a steady number of weekly active users, floating around the 80K mark but ending the year with an uptick to approximately 82K. Downloads showed a mid-quarter peak at around 6K before settling at 4K, while revenue saw a significant spike in late November, reaching over 65K.
Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings, from YOUZU GAMES HONGKONG LIMITED, experienced a revenue surge in late December, crossing the 50K mark. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from just over 400 to around 700 per week. The game's weekly active users saw a slight increase, ending at about 1.2K.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2, by miHoYo Limited, witnessed a revenue peak in mid-December at approximately 27K. The game's downloads showed an upward trend in December, peaking at around 7K. Weekly active users fluctuated but ended the quarter with nearly 29K.
Dynasty Legends:Warriors Unite, from Taihe Interactive, saw its revenue climb to over 15K at the start of November before dipping and then slightly recovering to around 9K. The game's downloads peaked at over 500 in early December, but active user data was not available for the quarter.
Mighty Quest For Epic Loot RPG, by Ubisoft, showcased a steady revenue, with a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching over 8K. The game's downloads experienced a spike in mid-October at approximately 8.6K before gradually declining. Weekly active users peaked at over 17K in mid-October and ended the quarter around the 11K mark.
