Q4 2020 Performance of Top Insurance Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the final quarter of 2020, the insurance app landscape in Latin America experienced varied performance across different applications on the iOS platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the downloads and weekly active users of some of the top insurance apps.

My AXA México, published by AXA Seguros México, showed a consistent download trend, starting with approximately 454K downloads in the last week of September and reaching a peak of around 501K in the final week of November. The app's weekly active users data, however, was not available.

SightCall's AllianzConnX demonstrated fluctuations in its download numbers, kicking off the quarter with 71K downloads and peaking at 145K downloads in mid-December. The weekly active user count for AllianzConnX was not provided.

Nationwide Mobile, from Nationwide Mutual Insurance, had an interesting download pattern with a significant spike to 793K downloads in the first week of December, followed by a sharp decline to only 2K by the end of the month. Its weekly active users showed a downward trend from 283K in early December to 45K by the month's end.

Lemonade Inc.'s Lemonade Insurance saw modest download numbers beginning at 25K and experiencing a peak of 36K in the third week of December. The weekly active users for the app were recorded at 23K in the same peak week.

Lastly, MyGIG Gulf (previously MyAXA) had relatively low download numbers throughout the quarter, with the highest being 12K in mid-December. This app also did not have available data for weekly active users.
