Q4 2020 Pinball/Brick Breaker iOS Games Performance in Latin America

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Pinball/Brick Breaker category of iOS games saw interesting performance metrics in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides a closer look into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Bricks Ball Crusher experienced a significant increase in downloads, starting at 6K in late September and peaking at 24K in the last week of December. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, from a modest $2K to over $3K in the same period. The game's weekly active users grew consistently, from 95K to a noteworthy 152K.

Voodoo's Snake VS Block also displayed growth, albeit at a slower pace. Downloads peaked at 16K in October, with a year-end rebound to 9K. Revenue figures showed a modest fluctuation, ranging from $100 to $170 throughout the quarter. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 133K to 115K by the year's end.

Despite not generating any revenue, Many Bricks Breaker showed an initial surge in downloads to 3K in October but then tapered off to below 1K by December. Active users peaked at 5K, reflecting a transient interest in the game.

The newly released Bounceville Stories: Brick Pop had a promising start with over 2K downloads in its first full week, but interest rapidly declined, dropping to single digits by December. Given its recent launch, the game's performance may still be subject to change.

Bricks n Balls saw a decline in downloads, from 1K in September to a low of 176 in November, before a jump to 1K in December. Revenue also experienced a dip mid-quarter but recovered, climbing from $1K to $2K. Weekly active users dropped from 82K to 73K, indicating a slight decrease in player retention.
