The final quarter of 2020 was an interesting period for baseball gaming apps in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower highlights the performance of the top five baseball games, revealing their downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2020, the app showed a consistent decline in weekly revenue over the quarter, starting at approximately $1M and closing at around $972K. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, with the initial week at 20K+ downloads and ending at around 5.7K. Weekly active users also decreased from 329K to 240K.

MLB 9 Innings 24 witnessed a fluctuating revenue pattern with an initial $454K that dipped to around $203K before spiking to $563K at the end of December. Downloads peaked at around 35.6K in mid-October and eventually settled at 11.1K. Active users saw a slight drop from 165K to 122K.

For Topps® BUNT® MLB Card Trader, revenue started at $110K and experienced fluctuations before a significant rise to $233K in the last week of December. The downloads showed modest numbers, peaking at around 2.3K, and maintaining a steady base of active users around 10K throughout the quarter.

Baseball Superstars 2023 had a relatively stable revenue, starting at just above $51K and ending the quarter at around $40K. Downloads saw a peak of 18K in late October, but ended the period at a low of 2.6K. Active users showed a peak of 58.7K in early November, decreasing to around 40K by the end of December.

Lastly, Homerun Clash saw its revenue begin at $52K, with minor fluctuations, and end at around $45K. Downloads remained fairly consistent with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 10K. Active users started at 86K, with a small decrease to around 70K.
