As 2020 drew to a close, the bingo game category saw interesting trends in user engagement across Australia. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into how these games performed in the fourth quarter.
Bingo Blitz™ - BINGO Games by Playtika Santa Monica, LLC, witnessed a fluctuating download count, peaking at 2K in mid-October before dipping and rising back to 1.4K by year-end. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a high of 14K in early October, which gradually decreased to 13K by the end of December. Revenue trends remained relatively stable, hovering around $130K to $180K weekly.
Blackout Bingo - Win Real Cash from Big Run Studios Inc. showed a notable spike in downloads to 2.3K in the third week of December, contrasting with a general decline in the preceding weeks. Weekly active users showcased a gradual increase, reaching nearly 4K active users in the same week, despite the app not generating revenue during this quarter.
Clipwire Games Inc.'s Bingo Story Live Bingo Games experienced a drop in downloads from 2.3K to under 800 by the end of Q4. Weekly active users remained above 11K throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick in mid-December. Revenue saw its highs and lows, ranging from approximately $21K to over $30K weekly.
Bingo Journey!Live Bingo Games by Elestorm Game Co., Ltd. saw downloads decrease from 788 to 605, while weekly active users declined from 1.3K to just over 1K by the quarter's end. Revenue also showed a downward trend, starting at $13K and dropping to $9K in the final week.
Lastly, Bingo Party!Live Classic Bingo from Avid.ly began the quarter with downloads at 1K, falling to 745 by December. This decline was mirrored in the weekly active users count, which started at 8.2K and decreased to 8.1K. However, the revenue for this app remained fairly consistent, with figures between $21K and $30K on a weekly basis.
