In the first quarter of 2021, dance game enthusiasts in Australia have been active on their Android devices. Sensor Tower has compiled data on the top dance games, revealing interesting trends in downloads and weekly active users.
Just Dance Now, published by Ubisoft Entertainment, saw its revenue fluctuate, starting the quarter with $181K in the first week of January and ending with $102K in the last week of March. Downloads peaked at 332K in late January but then saw a downward trend to 183K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at around 1.7M but dropped to 1.4M over the quarter.
Coco Play By TabTale's Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop experienced a revenue increase in March, reaching $38K in the third week, up from $22K at the end of December. Downloads showed a decrease from 844K at the start of the period to 565K at the end, while weekly active users saw a slight rebound from 1.2M to 1.4M in late March.
Super Dancer VN by SEAGA MOBILE, after showing no downloads at the beginning of the year, did not report any weekly active users data for the quarter.
Another title from the same category, Super Dancer by wu guangxing, did not have any downloads or active user data available for the period. Revenue data was available only up until mid-February, showing a peak at $95K in the second week of February.
Lastly, Ice Skating Ballerina Life, also from Coco Play By TabTale, had no revenue until late February, where it peaked at $63K in the second week of March. Downloads declined from 489K at the end of December to 251K at the end of March. Weekly active users declined from 2.5M to just under 2M by the end of the quarter.
