In the first quarter of 2021, several fast food and fast casual restaurant apps have seen varying degrees of user engagement on the Android platform in France. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these apps.
McDo+, the app from McDonald's France, experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting the quarter with 30 thousand and reaching a peak of 46 thousand in mid-February, before dropping to 21 thousand by the end of March. The weekly active users for McDo+ showed a positive peak of 400 thousand in mid-February, with the number settling to 250 thousand by the end of the quarter.
BURGER KING France saw its downloads begin at 15 thousand and peak at 20 thousand in early March, with a subsequent decline to around 12 thousand. The app's weekly active users started at 181 thousand and saw a peak at 201 thousand, before ending the quarter with 175 thousand active users.
Domino's Pizza France had a steady increase in downloads from 2 thousand to a peak of 6 thousand, followed by a slight decrease to 4 thousand. The weekly active users showed a growth trend from 9 thousand to 15 thousand in early March, before a slight decrease to 13 thousand.
KFC Fidélité, which represents KFC France, witnessed downloads beginning at 5 thousand and showing a decrease to 3 thousand by the end of March. The app's weekly active users saw a small decline from 20 thousand to 16 thousand over the quarter.
Lastly, Boulangerie Ange, a lesser-known but competitive player, started with 1 thousand downloads and saw a spike to 3 thousand in early February, but the numbers fell back to 1 thousand towards the end of March. The data for weekly active users was not available for this app.
