Brazil's Top Food and Diet Tracking Android Apps in Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has seen notable trends in the food and diet tracking app category for Android users in Brazil. The data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top five applications in this sector.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter started the quarter with a spike in downloads, reaching nearly 17K in the first week of January, followed by a gradual decrease to 11K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users peaked at 175K in the first week of January, with a slight decline to 156K by the end of March.

Fastic: Fasting & Food Tracker showed a dramatic decrease in downloads from 96K at the end of December to around 18K by the end of March. Its weekly active users started at 76K and saw a fluctuating trend, ending slightly lower at 55K in the last week of March.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter experienced a sharp decline in downloads from 42K in late December to just under 2K by late March. However, the app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, starting at 394K and ending the quarter with 417K.

BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting saw its downloads decrease from 20K in the first week of January to around 2.5K by the end of March. The number of weekly active users also decreased from 33K to 13K over the same period.

Lastly, Alimente-se - Dieta e Macros, a local Brazilian app, had a strong start with over 40K downloads in the first week of January, but this figure dropped to 18K by the end of March. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 119K and slightly decreasing to 100K.
