Q1 2021: Android's Top Investing Apps in Latin America

In the first quarter of 2021, Android users in Latin America showed significant interest in investing and financial management applications. Sensor Tower's data offers a comprehensive look at the performance of the top apps in this category.

IQ Option – Trading Platform sustained strong performance with downloads peaking at 221K in the week of January 25th and showing a consistent trend with the quarter ending at 218K downloads. Weekly active users followed an upward trajectory, starting at 1.15M and closing at over 1.39M by the end of March.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto also experienced a surge in both downloads and user activity. Downloads saw a notable increase from 24K in the last week of December to almost 91K by the end of March. Active users grew from 209K to over 533K during the quarter, indicating a strong and growing user base.

XP Investimentos, a leading Brazilian financial services firm, saw its downloads fluctuate, with a high of 66K in mid-March. The weekly active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 659K in the same period.

IQ Forex Broker downloads increased from 22K in the last week of December to 67K at the end of March. The app’s active users reflected this growth, starting at around 46K and rising to over 143K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Binomo - Analytics Platform had a later start in the quarter but quickly gained momentum. Downloads went from zero at the beginning of January to 99K by the end of March. The weekly active users showed significant growth from 3.3K in mid-January to over 119K by March 29th.
