As the merge game genre continues to engage mobile users, Sensor Tower has provided valuable insights into the performance of the top five Merge Games on Android in the United States for the first quarter of 2021.
Zynga's Merge Dragons! experienced a peak in revenue at $1.4M in mid-March, after a steady performance throughout the quarter. Downloads reached their highest at 33K in the third week of January, and the game maintained a robust base of weekly active users, peaking at 432K in mid-March.
EverMerge: Match 3 Puzzle Game, from Big Fish Games, also saw significant revenue numbers, with the highest at over $672K in mid-March. Download numbers were strongest at the end of January with nearly 30K, and weekly active users peaked at 99K in the latter part of February.
Merge Magic!, another title by Zynga, showed a revenue high of over $335K in mid-March. Downloads for Merge Magic! surged to 17K in the first week of February, with weekly active users reaching over 217K towards the end of January.
Metacore Games Oy's Merge Mansion displayed consistent growth in revenue, culminating in nearly $200K by late March. The game's downloads showed a high of 25K in early January, while weekly active users grew to 109K by the end of March.
Lastly, Mergical-Fun Match Island Game by BETTA GAMES saw its revenue reach over $106K in mid-March. The game achieved a download peak of 21K in early February, though it experienced a decline in weekly active users to 48K by the end of March.
