The first quarter of 2021 saw varied trends in the performance of top poker games on the Android platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's data gives us a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game by Playtika, an Israeli publisher, showed a slight downward trend in downloads from 29K in the last week of December 2020 to 19K by the end of March 2021. Meanwhile, its weekly active users decreased from 189K to 160K in the same period. Revenue, however, experienced fluctuations, peaking at 686K USD in mid-March before settling at 670K USD.
Zynga Poker- Texas Holdem Game, from the US-based Zynga, also saw a decrease in downloads from 23K to 7K, with weekly active users dropping from 214K to 170K. Despite this, revenue saw an increase, reaching a peak of 396K USD in mid-March, then slightly declining to 289K USD by the end of March.
Poker Face: Texas Holdem Poker by Comunix Ltd from Israel displayed a more positive trend in downloads, starting at 14K and peaking at 27K in late February, before a slight regression to 19K. Weekly active users rose from 61K to a peak of 90K in early March, then slightly fell to 82K. Revenue showed a significant rise from 77K to 127K USD in mid-March, ending the quarter at 104K USD.
Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist by Ireland's KamaGames showed a relatively stable trend in downloads, with a slight increase from 3.6K to 4.4K, then dipping to 2.1K. Weekly active users began at 14K, saw an increase to 17K in early March, and then decreased to 10K. Revenue experienced minor fluctuations, peaking at 61K USD in the first week of January and closing the quarter at 59K USD.
Governor of Poker 3 - Texas, also from Playtika, saw an increase in downloads from 1.6K to 5.1K in late February, followed by a drop to 2.3K. The weekly active users saw a peak of 18K in late February but ended the quarter at 14K. Revenue displayed an upward trend, starting at 75K USD and reaching 69K USD by the end of March.
