The first quarter of 2021 has seen significant activity in the shooter game category on the Android platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear view of how the top 5 games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games, this title from Wildlife Studios has shown a slight decrease in both downloads and weekly active users over the quarter, starting with 106K downloads and 643K active users in the last week of December 2020, and ending with 65K downloads and 535K active users by the end of March 2021. The game's revenue also declined from $171K in the last week of December to around $143K by the end of March.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 2 by Activision Publishing, Inc. experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at $1.48M in the last week of January and then again in mid-March. The downloads for this title started at 91K and dipped to 56K by the end of Q1, while weekly active users showed a healthy increase from 1.44M to 1.79M.

Next, Free Fire: The Chaos from Garena International I saw its revenue spike significantly in early March, reaching $4.34M, up from $3.20M at the end of December. Lastly, 1v1.LOL - Battle Royale Game by JustPlay.LOL, despite having negligible revenue, maintained a consistent presence with downloads starting at 52K and ending at 36K. Weekly active users were on the rise, from 298K in late December to 358K in mid-March, before ending the quarter at 314K.
