The first quarter of 2021 saw a diverse array of Simulation/Adventure games making waves in the Latin American region on the Android platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games performed during this period.
PK XD: Fun, friends & games, published by Afterverse Games, demonstrated robust performance with downloads peaking at 913K in the third week of January. While weekly revenue saw a high of $57K in the same month, weekly active users reached a quarter high of 6M in mid-March.
Z & K Games' Scary Teacher 3D maintained a steady download count, with a peak of 211K in the third week of February. Revenue showed a slight increase toward the end of the quarter, hitting $393 in the first week of March. The game's active users saw a quarter peak at over 1M in the third week of February.
Another title from Z & K Games, Scary Stranger 3D, had its highest download week in late March with 94K, while active users reached a peak of 275K in the third week of March. Revenue data for this game showed a modest increase, with the highest weekly revenue at $37 in mid-March.
The fashion-themed game by NANOBIT, Hollywood Story®: Fashion Star, saw its downloads soar to 257K in the first week of March. In contrast, weekly active users reached a high of 884K in the same week. However, weekly revenue demonstrated a declining trend, ending the quarter at $7K.
Lastly, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery from Jam City, Inc. enjoyed steady downloads, peaking at 93K in mid-February. Weekly revenue was consistent, with a high of $19K in the second week of February. The game's active user base reached a quarter high of 580K in the third week of February.
