In the first quarter of 2021, the Android slime game category saw interesting trends across the top applications in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower reveals how these games performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
EXOMIND's Goo: ASMR Slime Simulator experienced a peak in downloads reaching 74K in the first week of January, followed by fluctuations and ending the quarter with 21K downloads. Revenue showed a gradual decline from $3K in mid-January to $2.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users spiked to 126K in the first week of January but saw a downward trend, concluding at 65K.
Slime Simulator Time: 3D ASMR by Questzy showed a decrease in downloads from 34K at the end of December to 21K by the end of March. The app's revenue was negligible and ceased entirely after mid-January. Weekly active users declined from 68K to 50K over the quarter.
Kiki Fun Games' Fancy Slime saw a significant drop in downloads from 23K to 13K. However, revenue surged in March, reaching $24K in the third week before falling to $18K. The pattern of weekly active users mirrored the download trend, starting at 92K and reducing to 67K by the quarter's close.
The Fat Unicorn's Makeup Slime Game! Relaxation, with its publisher based in Pakistan, had a modest presence with downloads varying around the 3K to 4K mark and peaking at 4.2K in the last week of March. The game did not generate revenue but saw an increase in weekly active users from 37K to 43K by the end of Q1.
Cider Software LLC's Virtual Slime, despite having no revenue, witnessed downloads starting at 2.6K and descending to 1.6K. Weekly active users presented a slight decrease from 8.9K to 6.9K throughout the quarter.
