In the first quarter of 2021, the UK's Android platform saw interesting activity among the top 'Waifu' games. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a closer look at these games' performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Princess Connect! Re: Dive experienced a significant spike in revenue, jumping from 3 thousand in late December to 27 thousand in the week of its release. Downloads also saw a peak of 10 thousand in the release week, but tapered off to 2 thousand towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users grew steadily from 4 thousand to a high of 7 thousand in mid-March, before dropping slightly to 6 thousand.
Honkai Impact 3rd showed a more stable revenue pattern, with a notable increase in mid-March reaching 20 thousand. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight decrease from 1 thousand in late December to 718 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 9 thousand in late January and declined to 6 thousand at the end of the quarter.
For ISEKAI: Demon Waifu, which was released late in the quarter, revenue saw an impressive rise from 226 in mid-January to over 3 thousand in the last week of March. Downloads reflected this growth, with an initial 1 thousand downloads jumping to 9 thousand. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, soaring from 1279 to over 12 thousand by the quarter's end.
Azur Lane presented a different trend, with revenue reaching its peak at 26 thousand in early February and then fluctuating, ending the quarter at 7 thousand. Downloads saw a high of 1 thousand in early February before settling down to 302. Active users showed modest fluctuations, maintaining a level around 2 thousand to 3 thousand throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Idle Angels: Goddess' Warfare demonstrated steady revenue growth from 337 in late December to 2 thousand in early March, then declining to 1 thousand. Downloads peaked at 619 in early February, then dropped to 105, while active users increased from 324 to 1 thousand in February, eventually declining to 514 by the end of March.
