As the first quarter of 2021 wraps up, Sensor Tower's data showcases the performance of the top baseball games on the iOS platform in the United States. Let's swing into the details.
MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2021 from Glu Games Inc witnessed a steady rise in revenue, starting the quarter with $342K and finishing at $482K. Downloads spiked in the second week to 210K and saw a slight dip to 144K by the end of March, while weekly active users hit a home run, growing from 79K to 310K.
Voodoo's Baseball Boy!, although not scoring any significant revenue, still managed to maintain a consistent player base. The downloads fluctuated, with a noticeable peak of 22K in early March and ending the quarter strong at 20K. Weekly active users stayed within the ballpark of 64K to 66K.
MLB 9 Innings 24 by Com2uS Corp. hit a grand slam in revenue by the end of March, reaching $239K from an earlier $228K. Downloads grew progressively, from approximately 5K to over 25K. The weekly active users roster expanded from 59K to nearly 79K.
Super Hit Baseball, another Voodoo title, had its Super Hit Baseball game's revenue pitch between $8K and $17K, with the quarter ending at about $11K. Downloads saw a high in mid-February at over 13K, while weekly active users varied, ending at 52K.
Lastly, playus soft's BASEBALL 9 stepped up to the plate with increasing revenue, from $7K to $31K. Downloads also showed a steady climb, finishing at 17K. The weekly active users count surged from 91K to an impressive 126K by quarter's end.
