The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for dance game enthusiasts on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into the performance of the top 5 dance games during this period. Let's take a look at the trends for these rhythmic apps.
Just Dance Now saw its revenue peak at $8K in the last week of March, while downloads surged to nearly 13K in the same period. Weekly active users also hit a high of over 17K at the quarter's end, showing a significant upward trend.
Coco Play's Ice Skating Ballerina generated a modest revenue, with its best performing week at the start of February, bringing in $210. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 800 per week, and weekly active users saw a slight decline from 1.3K to just under 1K by the end of March.
JoJo Siwa - Live to Dance had a more fluctuating revenue trend, with the second week of February marking its peak at $172. The game's downloads hovered around the mid-700s, with a notable dip to 414 in early March. Active users showed a gradual decrease from over 3K at the start of the quarter to around 2.5K.
The hip-hop and ballet face-off in Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop generated its highest revenue of $235 in mid-February. The game saw a spike in downloads, reaching over 1.5K in the second week of February, but active users dwindled from 2.2K to below 1K by the quarter's end.
Lastly, Acrobat Star Show saw its revenue hover around $100 for most weeks, with downloads peaking at over 1.2K in the last week of March. The weekly active users for the game more than doubled from the beginning to the end of the quarter, ending at over 1.6K.
