The first quarter of 2021 brought varying degrees of activity in the Australian iOS poker game arena. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top poker applications during this period.
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game saw its revenue trend upwards, peaking at around $58K in the final week of March from a starting point of approximately $38K in late December. Downloads showed a slight decline from roughly 2.3K to 1.5K, while weekly active users dropped from about 12K to 10K.
Zynga Poker ™ - Texas Hold'em experienced a revenue increase from $33K to $35K in early February, followed by fluctuations and a decrease to around $28K towards the end of March. Downloads dipped from 1.5K to 1.3K in the same period, and weekly active users saw a significant peak at 116K in late February, ending the quarter with 119K active users.
Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist showed a revenue trend with a mid-quarter spike, reaching about $12K in late March from a starting point of approximately $16K. Downloads and weekly active users both saw a decrease, from 859 to 202 and 2.9K to 1.6K, respectively.
Poker Face: Texas Holdem Live also displayed an interesting revenue pattern with a significant rise to $15K in the second week of January, followed by a drop and then a steady climb back to around $6K by the end of March. Downloads were relatively stable, ending the quarter at 334 from an initial 702, and weekly active users concluded at 1.4K from a starting point of 2K.
Lastly, Poker World Mega Billions showed a revenue trend that peaked at nearly $5.6K in late March, up from about $6K at the end of December. The game had a minor number of downloads, maintaining roughly 20 downloads per week throughout the quarter, with active users data not available.
