The first quarter of 2021 saw an interesting mix of performances among the top fashion games in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Project Makeover by Magic Tavern, Inc. maintained a strong revenue trend with figures peaking at $4.5M in mid-January before ending the quarter at around $4M. Downloads showed a gradual decrease from 1.5M at the end of December to just over 500K by the end of March, while weekly active users saw a slight uptick in the final weeks, reaching approximately 2.3M.
Zynga Inc.'s High Heels! had a humble start in terms of revenue, but saw a significant jump to $11K in the last week of March. The game experienced a surge in downloads in late January, peaking at 1.7M, and then gradually declined to just under 500K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at just over 1K and soaring to 5.2M by the end of the quarter.
Lion Studios' Nail Salon 3D saw revenues ranging from $18K at the beginning of the quarter to $7.7K by the end. Downloads started strong at 313K and ended at around 200K, while weekly active users decreased from 409K to 295K.
Crazy Labs' Acrylic Nails! did not generate any revenue according to the data, but downloads saw a decline from 539K to 176K, and weekly active users dipped from 731K at the beginning of the quarter to 538K by the end.
AI Games FZ's Perfect Wax 3D: ASMR Makeover had negligible revenue but downloads spiked at 467K in mid-January before falling to 117K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 582K and then decreasing to 167K.
