MOBA games continue to be a dominant force in the mobile gaming industry. Our latest data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the performance for the top 5 MOBA applications in Brazil during the first quarter of 2021.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift saw a significant spike in downloads, jumping from 49K in the week of February 22 to an impressive 2.9M by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, soaring to over 2.4M in the same period. However, revenue showed a declining pattern, dropping from $146K in the last week of December to a low point in March where revenue was not recorded.

Supercell's Brawl Stars maintained a steady performance with downloads hovering around the 115K to 195K range throughout the quarter. The game's revenue started at $214K in late December and saw a slight decrease to $89K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 3.1M in early March.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology also experienced a stable quarter, with downloads gradually increasing from 110K to 164K. Revenue saw a slight uptick from $60K to $71K in the final weeks of March. Active users reached a high of nearly 1.9M mid-March before dropping to 1.6M by the quarter's close.

The performance of Arena of Valor by Level Infinite showed consistency in downloads, with numbers ranging from 6.5K to 8.3K. The revenue, while modest compared to others, followed a declining trend from $20K to just over $5K. Active users decreased slightly from 68K to 52K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Champions Legion by Studio Trois Private Limited saw downloads fluctuate between 5.8K and 8.9K. Revenue saw a downward trajectory, starting at $1.7K in late December and ending at $393 by March's end. Weekly active users remained relatively stable around the 70K to 100K mark.
