2026 State of Mobile is Live!

The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for shooter games in the UK's unified platform. Sensor Tower's data provides an overview of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Published by Activision Publishing, Inc., Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced a fluctuating trend across all metrics. The game's weekly active users started at 542K, peaked at 595K in the last week of March, showing a growing user base. Downloads began at 45K, dipping to 31K by the end of the quarter. Revenue trends were variable, with a notable spike at $254K in the last week of January, before settling at $197K in the final week of March.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games, by Wildlife Inc, saw a downward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 45K to 23K, and active users dropped from 207K to 158K over the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable but showed a slight decrease, ending at around $32K in the last week of March.
Published by Tencent Mobile International Limited, PUBG MOBILE had a high revenue start at $308K, with a peak at $697K in mid-January, before leveling to $388K. Downloads and active users saw a declining trend, with downloads starting at 27K and ending at 15K, and active users decreasing from 361K to 309K by the end of Q1.
1v1.LOL - Battle Royale Game, from JustPlay.LOL LTD, showed an overall increase in active users from 64K to 78K, while downloads saw a slight decline from 13K to 12K. Revenue peaked at $1K in the first week of March, an impressive figure considering the low starting point.
JPGroup's Pocket Sniper! had a challenging quarter with a decrease in all metrics. Weekly active users diminished from 41K to 11K, and downloads fell from 25K to 6K. Revenue, which was modest to begin with, ended the quarter at around $46.
