As the first quarter of 2021 has come to a close, we've taken a look at the performance of the top five trivia games in Australia on the unified platform. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers a snapshot of the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these engaging brain-busters.
Elevate - Brain Training Games experienced a moderate fluctuation in revenue, with a peak at approximately $19K in mid-January and a notable dip to around $12K towards the end of February. Downloads saw a slight decline from roughly 5K at the start of the quarter to approximately 4K by the end, while weekly active users showed a general downward trend from around 27K to just under 27K.
Party Roulette: Group games showed a steady revenue with minor fluctuations, ranging from nearly $5K at the beginning of the quarter to about $4K by the end. Downloads began at around 2.5K and showed a decrease, hitting a low of 616 in early February before recovering to over 1K. Weekly active users had a decreasing trend, starting at approximately 1.6K and dipping to just over 700.
Millionaire Trivia: TV Game saw its revenue decline from $6K to around $4K, with downloads also decreasing from 2K to just under 1.5K. Weekly active users experienced a downward trend from 21K to 16K.
SongPop Classic - Music Trivia had its revenue fluctuate, with an initial $2K, a mid-quarter spike to over $3K, and a return to around $2.9K by the end of the quarter. Downloads had a significant jump in mid-February, from less than 1K to over 3.7K, but then settled down to just under 800. Weekly active users saw a significant rise from 8K to over 8K during the same period.
Lastly, Trivia Star: Trivia Games Quiz demonstrated a revenue that wavered between $2K and $3K, with a noticeable increase towards the end of March. Downloads started strong at around 19K, dipped to roughly 12K in mid-February, and surged to over 22K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a significant increase from 56K to 66K, indicating a growing interest in this title.
