In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 fish-themed games on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showcased varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Fishdom experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $98K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads for the game fluctuated, with a high of 15.5K in mid-April, but saw a significant drop to around 4.7K by early June. The active user base showed a gradual decline from 127.6K at the end of March to 107.2K in late June, before rebounding to 115.7K by the end of the quarter.
Hungry Shark Evolution saw a steady decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 5.7K at the start of the quarter to 2.3K by the end of June. Active users also dropped from 25.7K to 16.5K over the same period. Revenue peaked at about $2.2K at the end of March but fell to around $555 in late June.
Hungry Shark World showed a mixed performance. Revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $1.9K in early June and a low of $671 in late June. Downloads saw a peak of 5K in early May but fell to around 2.9K by the end of June. The active user base remained relatively stable, with a slight decline from 27.4K in early May to 25.8K by the end of June.
Shoal of fish had a significant drop in downloads after an initial spike of 20.9K in early April, falling to about 338 by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, dropping from a high of 21.8K in mid-April to just over 1K by the end of June.
Mermaids maintained a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, ranging from 2K to 2.6K throughout the quarter. The active user base remained consistent, fluctuating between 2.5K and 3.4K. Revenue for this app was minimal, peaking at just $7 in early April.
