In the second quarter of 2021, several investing and financial management apps marked their presence on the Android platform in Brazil. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly downloads and active users for these top-performing applications.
IQ Option – Trading Platform experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting with approximately 162K at the end of March and seeing a decline to around 93.6K by late June. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users starting at about 972K and ending at 851K.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed a notable peak in downloads during early May, reaching around 135K. However, by the end of June, downloads tapered off to about 26K. The app's active user count increased from 171K at the start of the quarter to 286K by its end, reflecting a growing interest in cryptocurrency trading.
Binomo - Analytics Platform had an interesting trajectory, with downloads peaking mid-May at about 144K, before decreasing to approximately 59K by June's end. The active user numbers mirrored this pattern, rising to 180K in late May and dropping to around 84K by the end of the quarter.
BTG Pactual Investimentos saw a steady increase in weekly active users, beginning at 290K at the end of March and climbing to 469K by late June. Download numbers were more volatile, with a high of 73.5K in late April, followed by a gradual decline to around 40.6K.
XP Investimentos witnessed a peak in downloads in early June, with numbers reaching approximately 57.6K before settling to about 23.7K by the end of June. The app maintained a consistent active user base, starting at 608K and ending with 514K weekly active users.
