In the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top pixel games apps on the Android platform in Algeria showcased varied trends in downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the app market dynamics in the region.
Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game from 1SOFT exhibited fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 14K in mid-April before gradually declining to approximately 7K by the end of June. Active users began the quarter at roughly 145K, reached a high of nearly 164K, and then tapered off to about 137K by quarter's end. The app also saw a modest revenue increase, with earnings reaching $25 in the week of May 10.
WeTV: Asian & Local Drama experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads in late April, hitting over 14K, before stabilizing below 2K towards the end of the quarter. The app's active user count saw a substantial rise, climbing from around 10K at the start of April to nearly 40K by the end of June.
Zombie High School did not report any downloads, revenue, or active user data during this period, suggesting a lack of activity in the Algerian market.
Falcon: Classic Space Shooter also from 1SOFT, showed a steady trend in downloads, reaching a peak of over 6K in late April before declining slightly to around 4K by the end of June. Active users maintained a relatively stable trajectory, starting at 18K and peaking at nearly 30K before ending the quarter at approximately 26K.
Finally, CANAL+, Live and catch-up TV observed a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering around the 300-500 range throughout the quarter. The active user count showed slight fluctuations, starting at nearly 1.8K and ending at a similar level by the quarter's conclusion.
