In Q2 2021, the top five beauty retail applications in the Netherlands displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Below, we analyze the performance of these apps based on Sensor Tower data.
Parfumerie Douglas experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with around 4.4K in early April and peaking at 5.3K. Downloads saw a dip towards the end of May, reaching approximately 2.6K, before recovering slightly in June. The app's active users remained relatively stable, ranging between 18.3K and 22.6K, with minor variations throughout the quarter.
Rituals Home & Body Cosmetics saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 2.2K and reaching up to 4.1K in early May. The active user base hovered around 17K to 20.5K, maintaining a steady engagement level throughout Q2.
Etos had consistent weekly downloads, varying between 1.6K and 2.7K. Active users for Etos showed a positive trend, starting at around 8K and increasing to over 9.1K by the end of June.
ICI PARIS XL – Beauty had weekly downloads ranging from about 850 to 1.8K, with a notable dip in early June. Active users demonstrated a stable trend, remaining between 11.5K and 14.2K during the quarter.
Finally, LOOKFANTASTIC: Beauty & Makeup experienced lower download numbers, fluctuating between approximately 320 and 870 per week. Active users decreased from about 6.9K at the start of the quarter to around 4K by the end of June.
