The third quarter of 2021 saw a variety of trends in the performance of the top medical apps on Android in Latin America. Here’s a closer look at the metrics for the top five apps: Afya Whitebook: Medicina, Sanford Guide, Anatomy 3D Atlas, Human Anatomy Atlas 2025, and MEDCode - App Medicina.
The app from Afya Participações S.A. showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $21.5K in mid-September. Weekly downloads followed an upward trend, reaching around 6.1K in late August. Weekly active users fluctuated but remained robust, peaking at around 41.6K at the end of September.
Sanford Guide’s weekly revenue was relatively stable, averaging around $2.7K to $3K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a slight decline, with the lowest point at 161 in late September. Active users remained steady, with minor fluctuations around the 3.3K mark.
Anatomy 3D Atlas experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.5K in mid-September. Weekly downloads also saw significant growth, reaching around 8K at the end of August. The app's active users consistently increased, peaking at around 30.1K in early September.
Human Anatomy Atlas 2025 had a steady performance in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K at the end of August. Downloads showed a gradual increase, with a peak of 431 in mid-September.
MEDCode - App Medicina saw a stable revenue trend, peaking at approximately $619 in mid-September. Weekly downloads peaked at 319 at the end of August.
