In Q3 2021, the performance of the top 5 photography apps on the Android platform in Norway showed varying trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared over the quarter.
Lightroom Photo & Video Editor experienced a relatively steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.5K in late July. Weekly downloads started at 463 but steadily decreased to 253 by the end of September. Active users also saw a gradual decline from 7.7K to 6.5K throughout the quarter.
Picsart: AI Photo Video Editor had fluctuating weekly revenue, with the highest at approximately $1.1K in late June and mid-September. Weekly downloads peaked at 913 in mid-September but dropped to 670 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 10.5K to 11.5K.
GuruShots: Photo Game showed a peak in weekly revenue of about $1.2K in mid-July, with a general downward trend to $726 by the end of September. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 62 in early July. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 73 and ending at 78.
FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor saw its weekly revenue reach a high of $1.2K in mid-July before stabilizing around $880 by late September. Downloads varied, peaking at 430 in mid-September. Active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 2.5K.
Reface: Face Swap AI Photo App experienced a peak weekly revenue of $1.1K in mid-July, with a decline to $341 by the end of September. Downloads saw a peak of 829 in late August but decreased to 539 by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 6.5K and ended at 5.7K, showing a slight decline.
