In Q3 2021, the top 5 theme park apps on the Android platform in Central America showcased varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of each app based on data from Sensor Tower.
Weekly downloads for the Six Flags app started strong with around 4.6K in early July and peaked at 5.8K by the end of September. Active users saw a gradual increase from 18.7K at the beginning of the quarter to 21.1K by the end of September.
The My Disney Experience app's weekly downloads ranged from approximately 1K to 1.4K throughout the quarter. Active users also showed a consistent trend, starting at 1.2K and ending the quarter at 1.3K.
Disneyland® witnessed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 821 by the end of September. Active users also rose from 2.1K in late June to 2.4K by the end of the quarter.
Weekly downloads for the Universal Orlando Resort app fluctuated between 400 and 700 during Q3. Active users peaked at 1.2K in mid-July and remained steady around 1K towards the end of September.
The Universal Studios Hollywood app saw weekly downloads ranging from 220 to 409 throughout the quarter. Active users showed some fluctuation, with a peak of 396 in mid-July and ending at 312 by the end of September.
