Throughout Q3 2021, the top cryptocurrency apps on iOS in Europe demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a clear picture of the market dynamics during this period.
Numbrs - Bitcoin Account from Numbrs Personal Finance AG saw a notable decline in both weekly revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at approximately $6.8K at the end of June and dropped to around $1.4K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar trend, beginning at 1.1K and falling to just 34 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users also decreased, with a peak of 2.3K in early July, declining to 767 by late September.
CoinStats: Crypto Portfolio from COINSTATSAPP LLC experienced more stability. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $3.8K in mid-August and ending the quarter at approximately $1.7K. Downloads showed an upward trend, starting at 1.7K in late June and reaching 2.2K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 50.7K in early September.
3Commas: Crypto Trading Bots displayed significant variability in revenue. The app's weekly revenue began at $780 at the end of June, dipped to $83 in early July, and surged to $3.3K by the end of September. Downloads steadily increased, starting at 302 in late June and reaching 624 by the end of the quarter.
Bitcoin Ticker from XBT Apps Ltd showed consistent performance. Weekly revenue remained relatively steady, ranging between $315 and $540. Downloads varied slightly, peaking at 583 in early September and ending the quarter at 333. Active users maintained a stable range, with numbers hovering around 13K in early July and gradually decreasing to approximately 10.6K by late September.
Finally, Blocto: Crypto Wallet & NFTs from portto saw a significant increase in weekly revenue and downloads towards the end of the quarter. Revenue rose from $42 at the end of June to $598 by late September. Downloads also spiked, particularly in mid-September with 2.2K downloads and ending the quarter at 1.1K.
