In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 consumer finance applications in Spain demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

CaixaBankNow saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 40.6K in the week of August 30 and maintaining a steady rate above 30K for most of the quarter. Active users fluctuated but generally trended upwards, reaching approximately 3.13M by the end of September.

BBVA Spain | Online banking experienced a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 21.8K to 29.5K weekly. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from roughly 2.43M at the beginning of July to about 2.74M by the end of September.

Santander had a steady download performance, with weekly downloads ranging between 17.9K and 25.9K. The app's active users increased from approximately 1.25M at the start of the quarter to around 1.39M by the end of September.

imagin: More than mobile bank saw its weekly downloads fluctuate between 17.3K and 24K. Active users showed a rising trend, starting at around 1.11M in early July and growing to approximately 1.27M by the end of the quarter.

Bankia Móvil had a more variable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 10.6K to 19.5K. The app's active users peaked at about 1.66M at the end of August and settled at around 1.57M by the end of September.
