In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications in Sweden exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is a detailed overview based on Sensor Tower data.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.7K in late June, peaking at 4.7K in the week of August 23, and stabilizing around 4.2K by the end of September. Active users increased steadily from approximately 31.5K at the start of the quarter to about 45.7K by the end.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine had a relatively stable download rate, with a peak at 1.5K during the week of September 6. The weekly revenue saw minor fluctuations, with occasional peaks reaching up to $3. Active users for Vivino also showed some variability, peaking at around 13.4K in late July but declining to approximately 10.3K by the end of the quarter.
Linas Matkasse experienced a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting from 63 and reaching up to 165 by mid-September. However, no revenue data was available for this app.
Aarstiderne – Økologisk mad showed a steady increase in downloads, from a low of 15 in mid-July to a high of 123 by the end of September. Similar to Linas Matkasse, there was no revenue data reported for Aarstiderne – Økologisk mad.
Marley Spoon had a consistent download trend, starting at 45 in late June and peaking at 110 in late August. Active users also gradually increased from 187 to 239 over the quarter.
