In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 entertainment mascot games in Brazil showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how each game fared:
Angry Birds Dream Blast from Rovio Entertainment Oyj saw a peak in weekly revenue at the beginning of July, reaching approximately $5K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of around 12K in early July, before a decline to about 2.5K by the end of September. Active users also experienced a decline, starting from around 85K in late June and dropping to approximately 57K by the end of the quarter.
Disney Emoji Blitz Game by Jam City, Inc. witnessed a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 13.4K in mid-September. Revenue trends showed some volatility, with a high of approximately $4K in late June and a low of about $1.6K in mid-September. Active users grew steadily, peaking at around 40K in mid-September before slightly declining to around 37K by the end of the quarter.
Minion Rush: Running game from Gameloft maintained strong weekly downloads throughout the quarter, with a peak of approximately 91K in mid-August. Revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at around $1.5K in late August. Active users also saw an upward trend, reaching a high of approximately 284K in late August.
Sonic Forces: Run Battle Game by SEGA had consistent weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 56K and 115K. The highest revenue was around $1.5K in late June, with a general downward trend throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from approximately 717K in late June to around 570K by the end of September.
Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! from King showed a steady performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 44.7K in late August. Revenue was stable, with minor fluctuations, reaching a peak of approximately $1.2K in mid-July. Active users experienced a decline from approximately 278K in late June to about 158K by the end of September.
